TechTeam's application development services team will update, maintain, and add features to business-critical applications for a variety of firms
TechTeam Global, Inc., (Nasdaq: TEAM), a global provider of information technology (IT) and business process outsourcing support services, today announced several new customers have contracted for its application development services to be performed out of its Romania-based subsidiary, TechTeam Akela SRL. The application development team currently provides full-lifecycle software development, testing, and implementation services to clients in twelve countries. The team has been delivering highly reliable custom software solutions and related services to enterprises seeking to add value to their businesses through software solutions.
These first wins demonstrate TechTeam customer recognition of the value proposition presented by the company's new Romania-based application development center.
Heritage Marketing & Incentives (HMI) has chosen TechTeam for a software development project that consists of three phases. The first phase of the project, currently under way, includes analysis and design. It will be followed by two full-lifecycle software development phases. The project calls for TechTeam to rebuild a legacy data-collection and maintenance application using Microsoft's .NET technology. HMI, which is located in Norwood, Massachusetts, designs and administers online corporate incentive award programs for its clients' employees and business partners.
SmartTix Entertainment Services established a partnership with TechTeam to augment its technology portfolio to better service its client base. TechTeam will assist in requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, and maintenance of new solutions, which will be more scalable, reliable, and flexible. SmartTix, based in New York City, is a leader in providing full service ticketing solutions to events nationwide.
Mobile Software has hired TechTeam to provide additional resources in TechTeam's Romania-based center to aid in the development of new custom applications. TechTeam developers initially will be developing an application using Microsoft's .NET technology. Mobile Software is a leader in business intelligence and systems development based in Boston, Massachusetts.
